TribLIVE Radio is re-launching as a Podcast Network! Starting Tuesday September 6th, podcasts will be the main focus and objective of TribLIVE Radio, however the option to listen live on the app or through the website will still be available. TribLIVE Radio is on pace for over two million podcast downloads this year alone. In an effort to best serve the audience, switching to an on-demand audio and video podcast service will allow our staff to produce even more original, digital product every week, while continuing to provide fan favorite podcasts like the Steel Mill with Mark Kaboly. “A beat writer who is around the team on a daily basis bringing you places that very few get to go — that’s the Kaboly Show in a nutshell. It’s all Steelers, all the time straight from the guy who covers the team,” Trib Writer Mark Kaboly said.

TribLIVE Radio is excited to announce that the PantherLair Podcast hosted by Chris Peak, the best and most comprehensive year round show dedicated to Pitt Athletics will be expanding to three times a week. “With the 2016 football season about to start, I’m excited to expand the podcast and give Pitt fans even more of what they want: dedicated Pitt talk, β€œ said Chris Peak.

In addition to our popular Roundtable Podcasts that feature Tribune-Review Beat Writers that focus on the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins, TribLIVE Radio has launched the GAMEPLAN Podcast hosted by Kevin Gorman and featuring all of the Trib writers that cover the best WPIAL games every week in Western Pennsylvania. The High School Football Preview Podcast will be released on Thursdays to coincide with the GAMEPLAN Section of the Pittsburgh-Tribune Review. “Not only does the #TribHS staff provide the most comprehensive coverage of Western Pennsylvania high school football every Thursday in the GAMEPLAN section, but our roundtable of writers will offer excellent insight into the top games, players and storylines on TribLIVE Radio,” said Trib Columnist Kevin Gorman.

New additions to the current Roundtable Podcasts to bring the listeners even more insight and information include Trib Writer Andrew Erickson joining Rob Biertempfel and Travis Sawchik on the Pirates Roundtable Podcast and Trib Columnist Rob Rossi joining Jonathan Bombulie and Bill West on the Penguins Roundtable Podcast.

Recently, the immensely popular Wrestling Reality with Justin LaBar expanded to two podcasts per week. LaBar has national appeal and can be found with daily analysis of WWE in audio, video and print mediums under the Trib Total Media umbrella with Monday and Friday columns for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review website. β€œIn-depth discussion on what’s happening in WWE from a viewer perspective and from a business perspective. The podcast lives up to its title of “Wrestling Reality,” said Justin LaBar.
