ESPN and the Atlantic Coast Conference announced this afternoon that the Pitt Basketball team will be featured in two “Big Monday” national broadcasts in 2014-15: at Duke on Monday, Jan. 19 at 7 p.m. ET and at Virginia on Monday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. ET. Both games will be played on ESPN.

Pitt has been a permanent fixture on ESPN’s “Big Monday” broadcasts as the Panthers have made 28 appearances in the promotion since the 2002-03 season.

Pitt’s entire 2014-15 men’s basketball schedule, tipoff times and television appearances will be announced at a later date.

Pitt’s 2014-15 ACC opponents were announced on April 22 as the Panthers will play four teams on a home/road basis: Boston College, Florida State, Louisville and Syracuse. Pitt will host nine games at the Petersen Events Center including Boston College, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Miami, North Carolina, Notre Dame and Syracuse. The Panthers’ 2014-15 road opponents are Boston College, Duke, Florida State, Louisville, North Carolina State, Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

Pitt’s non-conference schedule was released on July 8 and its Maui Invitational schedule was announced on August 6.

The annual City Game, presented by GNC, will take place on Friday, Dec. 5 at the Consol Energy Center. For the first time, Pitt season ticketholders will receive City Game tickets as part of their season ticket package. For non-season ticketholders, City Game tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster on a predetermined date.
