The Pittsburgh Pirates today signed the following players from the 2015 First-Year Player Draft. The announcement was made by Joe DelliCarri, Pirates Director of Scouting.

Went 5-4 with a 3.63 ERA (89.1ip/36er) in 15 games (15 starts) as junior this year at the University of Akron…Led the Zips in strikeouts (72) and starts (15) while finishing second in wins (five) and innings pitched (89.1); also ranked fourth in appearances (15) for Akron in 2015…Was the third Akron player to be drafted in the last four years …Led the Zips in strikeouts (39) as a freshman in 2013 while making 12 starts.
