Specials teams are fueling what players believe is a special Penguins team.

Two power-play goals, a shorthanded tally and a perfect penalty kill helped the Penguins open Round 2 with a 4-1 victory over the Ottawa Senators at Consol Energy Center on Tuesday.

Winger Pascal Dupuis’ goal on a critical third-period penalty kill clinched a 1-0 lead in this best-of-seven Stanley Cup playoff series.

Game 2 is Friday at Consol Energy Center.
