As part of our MLK Day activities, we are welcoming 30 volunteers at our warehouse in Duquesne to prepare food for distribution across our 11-county service area. The event is open only to pre-registered volunteers.
In addition to the volunteer activity at the Food Bank warehouse, the Hindu Jain Temple is matching all gifts made to the Food Bank on Monday, January 18 at pittsburghfoodbank.org/MLK up to $10,000.

Before the start of classes on the morning of April 9, 2014, Alex Hribal, a 16-year-old sophomore, went room to room with an 8- to 10-inch knife in each hand, slashing and stabbing 20 students and security guard.
