Boston Globe reporter and NESN contributor, Alex Speier joins us for the podcast Wednesday. He’s covered the Red Sox since 2002. So he was around for most of Ben Cherington’s time at Fenway Park. Speier wrote a book called “Homegrown” about the 2018 Red Sox World Series team that has Cherington’s fingerprints all over it, even though he left the team back in 2015 amidst a front office overhaul. Anything you want to know about Cherington’s outlook on baseball and his track record, Speier will tell you in this podcast.
