The Steelers announced plans for a 50th anniversary celebration on Sunday, July 26, as the team kicks off its 2015 training camp for the 50th consecutive year at Saint Vincent College.

The festivities begin at Noon. Activities include the Steelers Experience featuring interactive areas. There will also be a youth football tribute throughout the afternoon.

Fans will also have numerous opportunities to win daily prizes, including $50 Steelers Pro Shop gift cards and special pre and post-practice VIP experiences.

Prior to practice, Steelers’ play-by-play announcer Bill Hillgrove will host a special on field ceremony that will feature Steelers President Art Rooney II, Chairman Dan Rooney, Steelers alumni from each decade and Saint Vincent College Dignitaries.

In addition, Pittsburgh native and former contestant on “The Voice,” Chris Jamison, will sing the National Anthem as the 28th Infantry Division of the Pa. National Guard presents our nation’s colors.

Practice is scheduled to start at 2:55 p.m. Following practice there will be a special Steelers Nation Unite VIP experience.

Fans arriving early can attend Black and Gold service, which takes place at the Saint Vincent church starting at 11:30 a.m.
