The Steelers traded for cornerback Brandon Boykin with the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a conditional fifth-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the team announced today.
Boykin (5-10, 185) is entering his fourth NFL season after being selected by the Eagles in the fourth round (123rd overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft out of the University of Georgia.
He has appeared in 48 regular-season games with six starts, recording seven interceptions and 32 pass breakups. For the postseason, Boykin started in his only playoff appearance.

The Steelers will hold their annual night practice on Friday, July 31.
The team is reminding fans attending the night practice on August 1 that the practice is held at Latrobe Memorial Stadium not at Greater Latrobe High School.
Directions to the stadium are listed below:
From Route 30 – Proceed on Route 30 East to Route 981 North (Arnold Palmer Regional Airport on right). Follow Route 981N through two traffic lights, about two miles, to city of Latrobe. As you cross the bridge over the Loyalhanna Creek traffic becomes one-way; proceed to the far right (turning) lane. At the next traffic light, make a right onto Jefferson Street. Go straight through one stop sign and at the second stop sign make a right onto Chestnut Street. Latrobe Memorial Stadium will be ahead on your left.**
From Route 22 – Take the Route 981 South exit from Route 22 East. Follow Route 981 South approximately eight miles until you come to the traffic light (just after underpass). Make a right onto Latrobe/Derry Road (Route 981S). Proceed straight through two traffic lights. At the third traffic light be in the far left lane to make a left onto Jefferson Street. Proceed straight through one traffic light and one stop sign. At the next stop sign, make a right onto Chestnut Street. Latrobe Memorial Stadium is ahead on the left.**
