The Penguins’ Brandon Tanev (13) pleads his case after a hit on the Bruins’ Jarred Tinordi in the second period. Tanev was called for a five-minute major penalty on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at PPG Paints Arena.
The Penguins lost to the Bruins on a night when Boston started a goalie in his rookie debut. Brandon Tanev got thrown out. And Evgeni Malkin was injured. Aside from that it was a wonderful evening at PPG Paints Arena.
