Mike J. Asti currently serves as the Assistant Station Manager and Lead Host with TribLIVE Radio.

Mike has spent many years in multiple aspects of multi-media journalism. He started at West Virginia University’s college radio station, WWVU-FM in Morgantown (U92). There, he covered several sports and held a leadership position as host of the station’s sports talk show – The Sportspage (2008-2010). His tenure as host is one of the most decorated in station history.

Professionally, Mike held a position as a member of the Champs Sports Network. At Champs, Mike covered Western Pennsylvania high school athletics and beyond as one of the lead on-air analysts and color commentators on the network. Also, Mike spent time as a multi-media journalist for Robert Morris University, highlighted by serving as the main color analyst for the Robert Morris women’s basketball team. He was a lead host on the radio side of the credentialed PensInitiative.com and PittsburghSportsInitiative.com. In addition to his work with TribLIVE Radio, Mike also currently holds a position as a digital content producer and reporter for RabbleVID.com.

Despite mostly a radio background, Asti has worked in TV, serving as a reporter for WPXI’s “Skylights” high school football coverage. Prior to becoming a host, Mike spent years as a guest and contributor with TribLIVE Radio. You have heard Mike on other distinguished outlets like ESPN Radio 970, ESPN Radio 1120, and West Virginia’s Metro News.

Those close to Mike brand him as being a magnet to what’s asinine, which has sparked a moniker, the “Ayatollah of Asinine.” No matter what you call him, Mike J. Asti’s brash attitude, witty sarcasm, immense knowledge, and charismatic arrogance (yes, that exists) complete a unique style. Pro wrestling fans will understand better than anyone: Asti considers himself a “heel.” He may garner hate, but hate is still a reaction. Polarizing, yes. Boring, never. Conquering, always.
